Fort Bragg it is: finally arrived!

Hi everyone!
After 52 hours of being awake, I am finally laying in my bed in the Living Light Inn in Fort Bragg, where I will stay the coming weeks.
It is the "student campus" of the school, where I share a room with one nice girl who just finished the course. She will leave on Sunday.
I heard there will be two more persons from Belgium coming to join the course so I am very curious to meet them.
But first of all: What a trip!
I had a very good flight. Had not too much turbulence and had very nice Belgian people sitting next to me on the plane. Also a young girl, who was visiting her sister who is living here temporarily for work.
After landing, Kisane - the girl that also joins the education and would join the car drive with me - was waiting for me at the arrival location. Haha, like a real blind date!
We never met before, but knew how we looked like because of Facebook. But what a great relaxed atmosphere between us!
Like we know each other for years. Very nice!
We went to pick up the car and started our trip of 4 hours to Fort Bragg: jippie jeej!
What a view, what an amazing feeling you get when you drive on the Golden Gate Bridge. So GREAT!
But after haven't eaten so much on the plane, Kisane and me were staaaaaarving. So we checked on the internet for a nice raw vegan bar and in no more than 5 min we already found something ;-). In the US everything is possible.
I had a nice green salad and a wheatgrass shot. Jammmiiieeee!
We had again lots of energy to continue the road, which took us into a big wood where our phone connection totally went off. It was already evening by that time, so it was getting quite dark.
The road was with a lot of curves, and enlightened. Very scary. Luckily we managed to overtake a car who was driving a lot in front of us, so we could stay behind him and let him guide us through the path of dark curves and trees :).
But then! What happened then is incredible... Like a movie!
Suddenly the car in front of us had to stop abruptly. A 'hippie' kind of guy didn't find the better idea to lay on his stomach IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD - which is enlightened !!!
We were shocked! We didn't want to think about what could have had happened if the car in front of us wasn't able to stop.
Anyway, the 'hippie' stood up and gave a thumbs up. Crazy guy!
Kisane and me couldn't talk for five minutes, because we were impressed. Speechless.
But now we arrived in The Living Light Inn and I have a beautiful room. A BIG bed, with a lovely girl who already showed us the way in the house. It is quite late (midnight) so everybody is asleep.
Tomorrow Kisane and me will do a hot yoga class in the morning, we will do some groceries and we will go and visit the school.
And VERY early to bed ;-). Because Saturday I start the course.
So but now I really have to go to bed. Time to get some sleep!

Even wennen natuurlijk als je van een klein land naar een mega natie verhuist.

Hey mie,
Ik ben ontzettend blij dat je veilig bent toegekomen, dat is echt een pak van mijn hart.
Dat was effe schrikken als er plots een auto stopt en er stapt een hippie uit om in het midden van de weg op zijne rug te gaan liggen, dat is toch tipisch America :-)
Ik mis je enorm hard, vooral onze gesprekken s'avonds en tijdens de afwas.
Nu doet Dominique de afwas, :-)
Geniet er maar met volle teugen van, want ik merk op de foto's dat je straalt en doet mij deugd.
